Eid ul Fitr is expected to be on either Tuesday 30th of August or on Wednesday 31st of August. These dates are not confirmed. Please revisit us again this evening after 6 PM GMT for an official announcement for when Eid will be.
Eid ul Fitr will only be determined after the sighting of the New Moon, so please revisit us again this evening.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), taught us to sight the crescent moon (Hilal) which marks the beginning of the month and the start of Eid ul-Fitr. Muslims follow the Islamic Lunar Calendar to determine such events.
We will soon be announcing the date for when Eid-Ul-Fitr is likely to be.
