Ramadan is scheduled start next week on either Wednesday or Thursday depending on the sighting of the moon. Please revisit us next week to find out on what day Ramadan is likely to fall on.
The status on our Ramadan Timetables 2010 is as follows:
We have already uploaded a few cities and counties but not all. Please pay attention to the year when downloading the timetables as many of them still have the 2009 stamp. This year we have changed the colour code for the timetables to make it easier for you to identify the 2010 timetables. The text on our 2010 timetables are blue with last years timetables remaining to have the red text.
We have completed uploading all our Ramadan timetables from Ireland and are still awaiting for the remaining 30% of our timetables from various places from around the UK. We apologise for the delay in getting the timetables out to you. Surprisingly this year alot of the Mosques and community centres around the UK have not yet finished producing their timetables and will have them ready by the end of this week. We hope to receive our next batch this Friday (6th) leading onto the weekend when we will begin uploading the rest of our timetables.This website is only dependant upon the many volunteers who make this website what it is today. Without your help we would not be here today, as always our request for help goes out to you each year. If you are happy with the service Ramadan Timetable provides and were fortunate enough to download a Ramadan Timetable in your convenience - then please help us help the many thousands of Muslims, non-Muslims and new Muslims out there. Each year people find it difficult to fast because of the difficulties they face in obtaining a Ramadan timetable. You may think its easy obtaining a Ramadan timetable - believe me its not. The truth is alot of our non-Muslim friends and new Muslims dont know the first place to go to. Technology such as the Internet has made it easier for us to find information quickly, this is where with your help Ramadan Timetable UK and Ireland comes in.
We kindly ask you to contact your friends and family who may reside in different parts of the UK to pass on a Ramadan Timetable from their local Mosque/community centre in accordance with the county/city they live in. If you notice we are missing a timetable then please take the initiative to help the rest of the UK's Muslims fast, think about reward you could be earning this Ramadan for a every person who fasts from the timetables you helped provide, its a very small and easy act to do.
