Today's Gaza Demonstration was like no other demonstration I had been to. I really enjoyed my time mingling with the crowd, seeing so many people turn out was just amazing. From hearing Lowkey rap to enjoying a short dance wifth London's ‘Monk Band' on our way to the Israeli Embassy. (That's what I like to call them :) you usually see them in London's West End.)

On leaving Downing Street, having walked for a few minutes we approached a section where there was a park on the other side, I can't remember where it was exactly. There was a gap in the demonstration which seemed like a good opportunity for a police officer mounted on a horse to help a transit van cross the road between the demonstrators. Inside the van there were two Queen's Guards men in full uniform, one driving and the other with his window down and his arm sticking out.

The moment I saw his face I thought to myself "my, what an ugly face he's pulling." It was clear from the outset what his intentions were going to be - clearly he wanted a piece of the demonstration. Suddenly I see his middle finger go up hurling the words F*** off towards a demonstrator, who was waiting patiently for the van to pass. I felt gutted as I missed the opportunity with my camera.

I was expecting more, but suddenly I see his arm go in and his window going up fast; coincidence in this hot weather? – No. His colleague who was driving the van had whispered a few words to him. I'm guessing the words were something like... "Watch out there's a camera about!" From that point on his window went up and he didn't want to look towards his left anymore, not once did he want to look back after realising that he was caught on camera. Maybe he didn't want his face to be seen? Little did he know I had already taken a photo early on as the van was coming out - well matey it's too late! I know what you look like and what you did!

I'd like to know what the Queen would make of this. As always she is staying 'hush hush' in times like these. What does the queen do again?

Just after he had hurled abuse at a demonstrator with a middle finger salute accompanied
by the words F*** off.

His arm clearly still sticking out.

This was when i got near the front of the van to take another closer shot, after noticing me his window went up in a jiffy!

Now lets take a closer look at the Queen's Guard who saluted demonstrators with a middle finger hurling abuse. He clearly forgot he posed for the camera earlier on.

Just after he had hurled abuse at the demonstrator his mood still isn't pleasant.

Notice the window is now completely closed after seeing me
compared to Photo 4? And hes still not looking back!

  1. Classy. Shame you didn't manage to frame that middle finger!
  2. Nice work, Khalid. Good pics. The soldier is an embarrassment to the armed forces. I hope he is given 40 lashes and expelled from the army. He is probably a Millwall supporter, too.
  3. His probably a member of the Anti-Islam group EDL.
  4. Just hope all readers do not think that this is common practice for all Queens Guards.
This guy is a disgrace to the unit that he serves and to the Cause that he is supposed to support.
  5. this is the attitude that is presented worldwide. this is a nationin need. shame on you. his is the glory that the british rest on.
SHAME ON YOU. MAY YOU PERISH IN THE GREATEST DEPTHS OF HELL!
  6. And that is the attitude that earns no supporters - just because the man is an idiot (and probably a bigot) he deserves to burn in hell?
It's a shame tolerance for other's lack of understanding isn't a bit higher up most people's agenda because I imagine your lack of understanding wouldn't get much tolerance from most.
  7. Why dont you send his picture and the details to the head of the queens guards and see what they have to say as well as to the MP of Kensington?

I was on the demo and they were also leaning out of their windows shouting abuse as well.
  8. May Allah guide us all, he is young and reacted to what was happening around him, insh'Allah we will all develope good manners given time.
  9. Crass and potentially inflamatory behaviour at best and quite possibly an offence under the Public Order Act - pity the otherwise helpful policeman didnt see it, perhaps he would have been arrested - what do you reckon??!! However I note the manner in which he is stereotyped- his probable support for a South East London football team; his possible membership of a racist group, and as for Habiba's comments, I pity her anger, hatred and her very own racism betrayed by her generalisations. These were the actions of an individual, he may not be the exception that proves the rule but he should not be taken as an example of the behaviour generally of those in uniform.
  10. I am sad to see muslims getting angry to a boy that cannot be more than 22 or so, who obviously has some issues.Habiba dear, take a deep breath and stop cursing people around, God will give everyone one what they deserve and we do not know who will burn in hell and who will not.You cannot point to people telling them they are racist when you yourself are showing racism for others and lack of tolerance.
All in all, let's hope all the people ion the world will learn how to be tolerant no matter of other's religion, opinions and so on.
  11. How Dare you disrespect the Queen in this manner. I am glad the guard stood up to here
  12. To be honest i'm not surprised my friend who is seikh got abuse from them when he visited buckingham palace with his relatives too.
  13. Totally unsubstantiated allegations. If the action you allege had happened, you would have caught it on camera.

In other words, you are lying.

    Congratulations.
  14. Lol, to colin's comment also a fantastic response from Yusuf M (and if its the one i know (landlord), then can you reduce my rent, you tight git?). :-) Apologies if this is a mistaken identity.

I can see the boys naivity but at the same as a Queens Guard should know better! Agree with Riaz get that to the MP or in the press.

James - How did anybody disrespect the queen? Was she walking her dog called James whilst having a peaceful walk outside her quarters!
  15. I agree with most comments here yes that's one idiot but we are not ones to judge who is good and who is bad and deserves to go to hell....may god Firgive us for our sins...you should pray fortgose that are ignorant that god guides them on the straight path.
  16. it doesnt surprise me at all.... look at his state.. he looks lost...sad young and lost...Get a life mate
  17. Well said alexander :-)
